DMA Code

Designated Market Area (DMA) is generally a group of counties that make up a particular television market. These counties comprise the major viewing audience for the television stations located in their particular metropolitan area. There are 210 DMAs in the United States. Each DMA is assigned a 3-digit numeric code.
1 On the Geography tab, click DMA Code.
2 In the corresponding text boxes, enter the DMA codes you want to include in the search. If you do not know them, use Lookup.
The invalid codes are automatically skipped by the system.
To clear the text boxes of all entries, click Clear All.
1 On the DMA Codes page, click Look Up.
2 In the Search Criteria text box, enter full or partial name of the area covered by the DMA that you want to include in the search.
3 Click Search.
4 Select the DMA codes you want to include in the search.
5 Click Add Selected Codes.
